Low shine or matte wax

I thought that I had seen a low sheen or matte wax that protected the paint but left it a little less glossy. The main purpose being for old paint jobs with paint defects that you don't want to highlight or gloss up. Does anybody know if this exists and if so, who makes it?

I've had good luck with Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax. It gives a good shine, but it isn't the "wet" look of the super clear waxes. It seems to do a good job if diffusing the light and therefore hiding scratches.

I guess the next question is what do you consider a good wax for the "wet" look?

I don't like the wet look, so I use the NXT stuff on everything. It makes it shiny and new in appearance, but not like you just dunked the car in a vat of baby oil. The last wax I was using was Meguiar's Gold Seal which was also very good, perhaps a bit more "wet" than NXT. I've moved away from Zymol, especially on light colors.

I agree that the Gold Seal is more of a wet look...but in my experience, you had better like waxing if you use it because it does not last all that long.
