LOW OIL PRESSURE OR NOT?

My oil pressure gauge stays below 50 pounds all the time while driving. When I stop it drops toaround 25 pounds. The oil level is between the two marks on the dipstick and I do not see any oil on the gargage floor. Is the gauge defective or is this normal? Any suggestions?

most of mine run like that, bout time to be thinking about freshening the bottom end, rod and main bearings
