Low flying jets - The Mach loop

What a cool location! Thanks, Hamish!

I would have thought the Canadians would better hills to fly in their own country. That would be like me going from SoCal to North Carolina for a windy road.

When I was in the USAF one of my assignments was to plan a high speed low altitude training route in our local area. Trust me, it is not as easy as it sounds. We were looking at 500 kts at 500 feet and you are not allowed to scare the local population or their animals. The fun part was that I got to test the routes.

How dense am I, since I noticed some planes had Canadian flags and knew the site was in Wales, UK.
Never even caught my addled brain cell.
