WOT - WOT? Lotus owners can only attend one show a year??
Come on, that was just Lotus's anyway. Come to the Colorado English Motoring Conclave and show the rest of the front range how many Lotus cars are still around.

BTW, you have any photos of the show in Snowmass? I bet it was great! How many cars did you get?

WOT-WOT-WOT???
That was supposed to be a great show!
We have a few Conclave committee members who went.

I remember the 2001 Vintage Triumph Register National Convention in Breckenridge, Colorado. Car Venues in the Rocky Mountains are always exceptional.

You probably missed a great time.

Probably, could not justify the cost and my car was not going to be ready in time anyway.

I went to one about 6 years ago when I lived on the east coast

We have an awesome west coast Lotus meet that is a little bit easier to swallow, though they did not have it this year on request of the Lotus club as they were worried it would have kept people from making the trek to Snowmass. Hopefully it will be back next year

Well you don't have to bring a car to go to national meets. There is usually a spare seat somewhere.

Would you drive or trailer to a show?

FIND my pal Ken Phair. Elan FHC, +2 and a S-2 Europa. Tell 'im of th' BCF...

Do ya think he will be at the Colorado Conclave??

What colors should I look for ??

S-3 S/E FHC: Carnival Red. +2 S-130: silver. S-2 Renault Europa: "Very Yellow" (I painted that one). /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

No fun without the car IMO and between the travel costs, hotels, food, etc it was too much money to for too little return right now

Don't own a trailer or something to tow with. I am only willing to do a 4-500 mile drive in the Lotus, it has no top or side windows, last big drive I went on got caught in the rain for 6 hours of driving, plus for the whole show I had to have a plastic tarp over the car, ruined the fun.

There is so many shows and meets here in LA year round that it makes for a bit of a hard sell to want to do long distance shows

Lotussesses?
