Lots of lookers, no bidders

I recently went up to 15 inch tires on my TR8 so I through my rims on line for sale. In one day I have had over 100 lookers and over 30 watchers, alas no bidders. I wonder what we did to get rid of our pare parts before we had the 'net.

AND I AM GETTING CLOSE TO 1000 post. I am not sure if that is exciting or sad.

You're supposed to get rid of spare parts? I think I'm beginning to understand my space problem...

Nah, why do you think no one is bidding? I'll tell you why, because it is an unnatural act, cleaning out the garage is...

Yeah, most guys don't want to get rid of their junk...er, treasures. Just look at the stuff those guys on "American Pickers" hold onto. Getting some them to sell is like pulling teeth.

Well, I've been collecting spare parts all these years because sooner or later Ford, GM, Chrysler, Jaguar will bring a Spare to market and I'll be ready!

I knew I had an issue with spare parts when I had to move my tractor from the shed to the garage because the shed is too full of Triumph parts. Sadly, as small as my TR8 is I could have had an entire car torn apart in there

At one point I had 23 13X7 minilite style racing rims, and another 4 complete sets of TR8 alloys laying around here. Then the SCCA went and allowed 15" rims in the class I used to race in. Over night 5K worth of rims became paperweights. I have only managed to sell off two sets in 6 years. The only bright spot in all of this, is that I changed the bolt pattern on the TR8 to 4X100. Now at least the TR8 and my BMW 2002 race car can share wheels if I can ever afford to go racing again.

I have a bid..... YEAH.... more room in my garage...
