lots of comments re guage brightness,

I thought of that and decided to stick with the existing bulbs, partly because I like the quality of the light of incandescent bulbs in an old car. I did however replace all the bulbs, bypass the rheostat (which I suspect is the biggest current draw - and when will I need to dim the lights in an MG :smile: ) And I put an inline fuse on the circuit just to keep the smoke in.
