Hi Guys

taken me a while to get to the video stage but day one is done started damp for practice 1 and after new Weber floats and Rolling Road set up I thought it’d be right ……

2nd practice was dry ( but it now counts in the triumph championship against handicap times !)

then the rain came and the events timed runs which count as the official standings were wet

enjoy

Ps the Ferrari owners club were out joining in the fun too but a red one didn’t make it home :(

Nice times. In the 2nd practice run I was watching you shift. Where is your overdrive witch located? How often is overdrive used in these runs or are the non od gears best for most of the course? Thanks Karl

Hi Karl
My overdrive switch is just by the wheel to my right hand on the dash I can switch it with hand on the wheel.

Horses for courses about the OD use. I have a tr6 box so have od on 2, 3, 4
When racing these small courses I have 185/55x 15 tyres so low profile with a 4:1 diff so set up for acceleration over top speed.

That was fun to watch. I have a little road near my home that has the same type of curves. If I get out early on saturday mornings I can get in a quick pass with no traffic.
