I guess I didn't pay the utility bill. I've lost my lights. Help, my felines are not happy. Morning playtime is just not the same. :popworm:

Judy - I lost my lights many years ago. Been stumbling in the dark and mis-leading others ever since.

My lights are gone now too. :concern:

Maybe we broke all of them and Bas is waiting for more to come in.... just saying

My lap top put a hex on the lights! I asked how to turn them off briefly, but not for everyone! My fault! :sorrow: Sorry.

He did but now they're gone. I know some didn't like them... but I enjoyed them.

Me (to my wife): Come here and take a look at this.

Wife: Only if I can break those Christmas lights again.

now what I am going to do? :dejection:

I complained about them, too. Hope I'm not the cause... :(

I miss the lights. I got to play with them one day.

Were they REALLY that bad, guys?!

The volume control is an effective tool to use at times.

Merry Bah Humbug.

I never figured out why folks didn't like the lights (and snow). But to each his own ...

And if they do make an appearance again, you can easily turn off your browser's JavaScript so they won't run. That way Basil doesn't have to turn them off for everyone.

(And if you want to make only your *own* browser show snow falling on every page you visit - you can install a simple script to do that too. Just sayin' ...)

Well, I can think of two individuals likely "responsible" for the removal. They weren't forum members, either.

Richard - where'd you get that great old card? Any Swiss, German, or Austrian roots in the family

Verdriesslichkeit immer!

This Irishman does not understand why St. Nick is riding with the Devil?

And Tom: is that something like "forever grumpy"?

For all the Irish among us:

https://www.istrianet.org/istria/customs/winter/krampus1.htm

St Nicholas was thought to travel with an assistant, who would take present from "naughty" children, and replace them with lumps of coal.

Also in the link, note the connection with the bread we call "pumpernickel". :jester:

Grumpiness forever!
