Got the news today that a good friend finally lost his battle with cancer this morning. He had gone into hospice last week, so we knew this was coming and I am glad that his suffering is at an end now. He was 65, much to young for this but I suppose our time comes when it comes.

Cancer F$#&^*% sucks.

"Cancer F$#&^*% sucks."

Indeed.

Agreed. Living with cancer the past 12 months has changed my life more than I ever imagined possible.

Now's the time for you to help that man's family and friends, every way you can.

Tom

Sorry to hear, Tom.

We have no choice but to enjoy the good times, as much as possible.

Life's ups and downs.

Cancer took my wife's mother when my wife was only 12. My sister is in remission from Breast cancer. Indeed, cancer sucks!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Cancer is a bummer. I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in September, 2010. Went through radiation and chemo to shrink the tumor and had the operation in January of 2011. It's a tough road both physically and mentally for not only me, but for everyone in my family. The good news is that no cancer cells got into the lymph system so all is good...for the moment.

Sorry to hear this.
Lin is a cancer survivor so we always count our blessings.

We have a friend George that lives down the street. He's 95 and lives alone (wife died of cancer last year.....she had an tough time the last few years).
As part a volunteer job Lin has with our church, she checks in on George on regular basis. A bunch of other folks check in on him too. Last week he was found passed away from natural causes in his own bed.
He lived a great and active life, so all in all, at 95 he had a pretty good run.
Not a bad way to go. I'd take it.

I agree.....my Dad is going through treatments....not growing right now but he got spinal meningitis on top of that because the treatment weakened his system so bad....Darn near killed him.

He is in rehab again....

My condolences to the family....prayer time!
