I've seen a number of these kind of auctions on ebay. Limited information, outstanding car, no reserve, low price.

Looks like spare parts for sale. Wasn't the Griffith one
of those super fast 0-60 mph rigs. My dim memory is telling
me something like 3.9 sec.

Oh well, looks straight up to me. Scam doubtful.

You should try reading Basil's note "about eBay." This sort of post in which eBay auctions are bashed (in this case for no apparent reason at all) seems to get on his nerves - it gets on mine, too.

I went back and reread what Basil had to say about ebay and as usual his remarks were right on. As many of you may know I have bought and sold a bunch of stuff on eBay and found it to be, on the whole, an excellent way to buy and sell. This fellow with the parts chose, to me, a very creative way to advertise what he had to sell.
