TR6 Looking to replace my TR6 exhaust

Hello all,

I purchased my TR6 about 10 years ago; and it came with and still has Monza exhaust on it. I am over the noise it makes; only acceptable noise level is at an idle. Originally had 6 into 1 exhaust manifold and now have installed the exhaust manifolds that are 2 sets of 3 cylinders into 2 exhaust pipes all the way to the tips.

I would like suggestions for a replacement; prefer stainless steel from exhaust manifold to exhaust tips and a source that has them. Some choices look good; but availability can be an issue.

Thanks for any advice.

Dan

I have a set of ANSA mufflers on mine and they sound great. Not cheap, but good quality…. If you can find them.

Thanks for your response. Could you provide a photo and where you bought them? What would you say the sound is? Stock, melllow, etc.
I bought them about fifteen years ago from an individual. They are definitely louder than stock… it’s a sweet sound.

The ANSA mufflers haven’t been made in years. Occasionally you can find NOS but be prepared to take out a second mortgage ;)
Sports & Classics used to sell them. Good luck.
