Looking to purchase a MINI

[Little Stinker]

Hello,
My name is Ted, My wife and I have owned two Austin Minis in the past and loved them. Then the family grew and we sold the mini to buy a family car. Now that the children are grown up we would like to purchase another Mini.
We live in Cochrane, Ontario, Canada (south of Moosonee). If anyone knows of an older Mini for sale would you be so kind as to let us know in order that we may check it out.

Hi Ted, welcome to the forum. I know of a company that imports RHD Minis from the UK that's based here in Wisconsin, otherwise most of the Minis for sale seem to be in Florida or California. If you want it, I can e-mail you the number of the local guys, or would you rather find something in Canada first?

I use Bank Garage to obtain classic mini coopers. You may want to checkout their website at:

They rebuild and referbish minis. They do a great job. If you're interested in importing a classic, you may want to check them out.

Browsing around and saw this older posting...

Anyway... there are piles of Minis for sale all over Ontario and all over Canada, mostly the 1970's 1000 models (with a number of them upgraded to a 1275 engine).

I'm a member of the British Saloon Car Club of Canada and we have a large base of Mini owners among the 450 plus members, also each newsletter has a large listing of British saloons (Minis included) to tap into if you're looking to buy one.
