Ya'll know those black thingies that the sunvisor tips snap into on the windshield? I can't find them anywhere in the Moss catalog and I've been digging around on ebay for 2 hours looking. I need just the little black brackets, both mine are cracked to the point they're useless. I know, I know, what's the point of visors anyway? Have any idea where I can find a pair? VB maybe, or triple-c? I don't have current catalogs for them, but I can check online.

Stewart - thank you! I am still in ebay, on page 9 of a gazillion I think, sorting through. I guess I didn't know what to search for! Huge thanks!!!

When you replace them use stainless steel sheet metal screws instead of pop-rivets so they're easier to remove. I used some aircraft hardware that fit the hole in the rubber piece perfectly.

Thanks for the tip aerog!

I'm starting to scare myself. The littlest things make me happy lately. Especially if they involve my lbc! If I don't snap out of this soon and get out of the Moss catalog and Autozone, dahubby is going to get concerned!

As a temp, wrap the tips with tape. That will hold them pretty well. I am not sure but look at Moss page 67, item 233-930 or Victoria page 83 item 0-165.

The seller for the item jaybird listed above is one "jackemery". I've made several purchases from him via his eBay auctions and have been highly pleased each and every time.

Jaybird, you'll be glad you ordered from jackemery. Enjoy! And glad you found what you were looking for.

Well, glad you got what you wanted, at the right price. For future reference, under Roadster Windshield, in the Moss cat., part # 233-930 ANCHOR, sun visor is $4.95 ea.

Yup, these are almost always damaged...kind of a stupid design. Be careful when u drill out the rivets not to go through to the glass!I agree with aerog...use stainless screw to hold em` instead of rivets.Good time to clean up the windsheild frame in that area to...usually alot of stuff collects around these rubbers.
