Looking for Recommendations for Garage Lift

I'm seeking a pneumatic or hydraulic car lift for my '63 Austin-Healey BJ7. Preferably, one with a track that will accommodate the Healey's narrow track of 49"-50" and that will have a drip pan underneath the entire length of the car to catch all the oil that drips down so as to protect my daily driver to be parked underneath. Anyone have one they love and can recommend?

Thanks.

$2800.00 for a HD9-ST INCLUDING installation is a very good price! I had mine delivered to the installer's shop. He put it on his flatbed trailer and brought it to my home for installation, but the installation was extra. Make sure you order three of the drip trays. Three trays covers just about the entire track.

You will also need to make provisions for the 220 volt electrical service, and you need an air compressor. The safety locks on the HD9-ST require compressed air to be released. I also had my garage door track altered to allow more door clearance.

Again, my experience was the same as John's. I helped the installer a great deal. He reduced the install cost to $400 from the original $500. I also got the dolleys that you mount to each post to move the entire contraption around quite easily. I have only used them twice, but they work perfectly and I don't know how I would have moved it otherwise.

Best thing I every did, saved me tons on repairs, great for your daily drivers if you are like me and spend to much on your Healey

I went with the HD9 and my BJ7 fits fine. I can also use it to lift my F150 for service. My ceiling is exactly 10' And the car goes to the top with the top down. Bend Pak meets all industry safety standards. I would also recommend a jack shaft garage door opener (about $350), alluminum ramp option, bridge beam for jacking, two plastic drip pans( lighter) and Dolley wheel set. I decided the wider HD 9 a better choice for future sale and flexibility with minimum price and space difference. One of the ramps on the HD9 can be mounted in two positions.

Also picked up an 18' strip of led lights, 1800 lumens with 3m stickey on the back which I mounted around the ramps and front beam on the inside curved edge of the ramps, lights up the whole 3/4 length of the underside.
