TR6 Looking for Oil Filler Cap TR4/TR6

Where can I find a chrome or polished stainless oil filler cap? I have a 6 cyl chrome valve cover, the opening is 1 3/4" ID, 2 1/4" OD with tabs on the cap that are bent over to engage the external lip of the valve cover. I've been to TRF, Victoria, Moss, Rimmer (they have the galvanized type), Sportscarparts, Amazon and e-bay, etc. Anyone know a place that carries these? I would like to replace the dingy galvanized one that is on there now... Thanks!

ok, so after more inquiring, I come across BadBoy Classic Car Parts website from the UK. He offers a cap that looks identical to a radiator cap, and he confirms thay are the same size! So, I can order a nice radiator cap, take off the pressure regulator(or leave it on) and voila! If Im wrong, let me know.

Hey Tom, These do not fit because the locking feature is down inside the valve cover. The TR6 locking feature is on the external lip, just like the radiator. I compared a radiator cap to the valve cover cap and they are the same. Otherwise this would be the cap of my choice...

Live and learn. Thanks for the info.
Tom
