I am looking for a Healey for my first car, I could use some advice from some of you, I don't know much about British Cars, with the exception of the AC Ace. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyway, I need a car that is somewhat comfortable for a 6ft driver, it dosent need a lot of power, but nothing too expensive. Please help me, Im lost /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif And one more thing, Im in the US /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif

Well I'm also 6 foot and find the BJ8 fine no problems with height >>>>BUT<<<< I'm no sure any Healey will fall into the "nothing too expensive" league. If you buy a cheap one you'll spend a long time and a lot of cash rebuilding it. If you buy a good runner it won't be cheap.

(Lifes a bit like that I'm afraid)

Well, if you are familiar with the AC Ace then maybe a Healey would not seem "too expensive".

OTOH - If you were to ask about a Britsh sports car that a 6-footer would be comfortable in, "doesn't need a lot of power" and is "nothing too expensive" then a Triumph Spitfire comes to mind.
