Looking for Heater switch / cable for Midget MKII

Hello,

I was lucky enough to purchase a NOS heater switch / cable unit a while back on ebay, and it doesn't seem to pass current for some reason, so i guess i'm not so lucky after all, I can bypass it and blower works perfectly, so with this being a very hard item to find, i thought i would ask here if anyone had a source for one of these, i don't even need the knob, LOL my car is a 65' mkII

thanks,

Probably just dirty contacts on the switch.
It comes apart easy enough, it's hard to explain just how but by looking at it, you'll figure it out.
Even if a wire came off, it was just soldered on.
Pry back the crimped ends, pop off the ball of the cable and it's apart.

Take a look at Gerards Website. He has pics on there of my heater switch that I took apart and cleaned up. It is a dogbone shaped roller that gets crudded up and stops working. I took apart and cleaned and it has been working fine for the past 9 years. Google Gerards garage

Hey I found these pics on the heater switch in muy '68. Design may have changed but this shows how to remove switch and clean.

Disassembled Heater Switch. Hope this helps.
