TR2/3/3A Looking for expert appraisal advice re possible TR3-B purchase

Hello
I'm looking to purchase a TR3-B that I have been watching slowly die in the current owners driveway for the past 11 years.
I would like to forward pictures to a member that has the knowledge to review and give me guidance as to a potential value of the vehicle.
The commission number of the vehicle is TCF14 body number TSF480 (TR4 engine and transmission vehicle). The car has sat without moving for 15 plus years from what I can ascertain. If you are able to assist I will forward the pictures of the cars condition to you - would prefer to send privately as I do not own the car and thus would prefer not to post the pictures. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Cheers

Hi There Nigel,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC site anywhere!!

Are you searching for a "Professional Appraiser" or info. from members as to what to look for in the car? Meaning, Originality, RUST (Especially since she`s been sitting outdoors for a long time), Current running cond. etc etc.

There are quite a few folks here who have "Restored" these beauties & I`m sure would be more than happy to comment after seeing some pics. You can click on the members name & send a PM with pics if you wish. I`m one of them.

The "Ball is in your Court".

Regards, Russ

Welcome indeed, Nigel!

As soon as you can post pictures and description, I know you'll get lots of opinions. Though few of us would call ourselves experts, we have been around the block and are pretty familiar with the cars and their potential pitfalls.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures and further chat with you.

Hi Nigel,

I might be able to help. I'm located in Newmarket. If you would like me to have a look at the pictures, I would be glad to do so. If you get more serious than that, I might be able to lend a hand with the inspection.

You can email me at President At torontotriumph.com

Cheers
Tush
