PATR8

Any here who might be hiding a few of them want to sell one? Please let me know. Thanks.

I will soon have an entire TR7 worth of parts available if anyone needs something.

If you find two of them, let me know - I'd like a spare!

I have hit the three big suppliers over her up, Woody, ted , and Scott and NADA. Not even one. I will see if ebay has anything then head to the guys overseas. And imagine, I gave one away 8 years ago to Ted in good faith if i needed it I could get one back

Left mine on a pump a few days ago. Luckily it was there when I returned a couple of hours later.

I believe a saw a locking (non-stock) gas cap on e-bay a few weeks ago. I also saw an chrome aftermarket one at a recent car show, but didn't get a chance to follow up on it.

I'd like to fina a back up as well. Please let us know if you have any luck and I'll keep a look ouyt as well.

Call Brad @ Wedge Parts. I had to buy one from him about six months ago. Be prepared, they are VERY expensive. You will not make that mistake again!

I dropped Brad an email on Tuesday so I assume he was off for the holiday. Expensive? what is expensive? I will hit the guys I know overseas up, maybe they will help a little

Brad lives just a few miles from me, and has been a HUGE help with my endeavors on the TR8. In fact, I just came from his house after a quick drive with him to check some of my work.

Of course, I can't speak to any issues with unanswered or bounce-back emails, but you can always call him - phone numbers are on his website - even his cell phone. I've always been able to reach him.

I asked him about his cutting back, and he said he's going through a bit of burn-out. His mission has been to locate hard-to-get items such as trim pieces. If they're not available, he's gone so far as to have some made. The most recent are the four heater/fresh air control knobs. I have a set of them, and they look very nice - not exactly like the originals, but then, what resto parts are! He still has plenty in stock, by the way, if anyone needs 'em. But I don't think he's had the response to some of his efforts that he had hoped, and that has contributed to his burnout.

He's in the process of cutting back on some of his rolling stock - his silver TR7/8 is on ebay now. He has several others, in various conditions, and is thinking about cutting down to just one, and concentrating on other projects.

Send him an email - address is also on his website - https://www.wedgeparts.com - let's keep him as a resource!
