Looking for a Datsun 5 speed

I am looking for a '79 to '82 Datsun 210 five speed to mate up with a 1275 engine for my 59 BE. So far no luck. Does anyone know of a source or location of one in the Southeast. I am in NC, but I will drive anywhere in SE to get one.

see them on ebay every so often, but they usually sell upwards of $400 - $500. Thry this website.

It is a database search engine for junkyards. I found several odds and ends for other cars here. Pretty good because you can narrow down a region and than sort price highest to lowest.

Very tempting - bet this would fit Frank like a glove - Nissan A15 motor with matching 5 speed would cook!

Charlie, I have one I have been thinking of getting rid of when I tear down "Hunk o' Junk" (for parts) It is mated to a Datsun 1952cc engine - very crude swap by DPO!). This car was a good idea gone bad that my son had hoped to re-do. Since he is in the service now and travels for 260 days a year (no time for projects!), I have inherited the car and am going to use as much as I need and then get rid of the rest!
 
There was one for sale in the shell of a 210 here in Austin. I tried to buy just the transmission, but the owner declined my offer. He wanted $350 for the whole car. Probably be worth the extra $$ to buy from eBay.
