Looking for a BE drivers door? Anyone?

After stripping my car down I found a nice hole in the lower front of my door. Anyone have a spare?

I think a MKII is the same door bt with a piece of trim on the outside. and some interior stuff on the inside. Close enough!

The MKI Sprite and the MKI Midget / MKII Sprite used the same doors, the only difference was the lining in the door pocket.

Anybody know what type of screws are used to mount the doors to the pillars? Mine were lost at some point while blasting..

I hope I can just pick some up at a hardware store?

I think they were 5/16 pan head pozi's (fine of course) about an inch and a quarter long, but I'm going from a memory (3 yrs ago)

IF they are 5/16 fine thread, then any hardware store would work. You can probably find it in a philips pan head, or just use hex heads (which is what I did). Let me make a trip to the garage to check the size.

When I first read your reply I thought you meant the funny phillips head. I think I can find those at the ACE store here in town!

OK, it looks like they are 1/4". I think they were originally the "funny phillips head" pozi, but mine were so rusted I couldn't tell.
