Looking at an MG

I'm going to go see it tomorrow, and I'll definitely post what happens.

And Bugeye58 speaking of comfort regarding the car's price got me thinking...
How tall is everyone?
I'm 6'2", so I'm going to make sure that driving the car doesn't mean getting behind the wheel by having someone jam me in with a 2x4!

I cannot agree to any Healey trades, though. Despite going out with other British cars, I maintain that I'm still faithful to my 100-6! We just have an open relationship.

heh

5'10" 180lbs here... sometimes think about a smaller steering wheel to get a little more thigh room. Other than that I'm as comfrotable as a pig in a blanket

Oh yeah... forgot to add that wide shoes can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes...

Six feet and 210, no prob with a Bugeye.

I'm 6' & 208...I replace all my wheels with a 1" in diameter smaller MotoLita..does several things: gets the steering wheel farther away from the stalk switches & provides more leg room than the stock wheel

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the MGBs made in the first half of '74 were still chrome, and then they switched.

Start of 74 1/2 "Rubber Bumper" Cars was September '74, according to Clausager's Original MGB

Mickey

Early '74's had chrome bumpers with the little tear drop overriders, mid-year '74's had the huge Sabrina overriders on chrome bumpers; late '74's (74-1/2) had rubber bumpers

Exposed Sabrina's! Clunky great hulkin' things, they are.

Don't tell Janel - she'll want us all to look at her hooters!

Again?!?! sheesh... seen 'em ONCE, seen 'em a hunnert times...

Dan,

I am 6'3" and 250 plus...and my B is more comfortable to drive and move around in that my Jeep Cherokee...if I have the top off. Don't really remember what it is like with the top up though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

But then...that is why I have a '74 B Roadster /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
