Looking 4 windshield washer container replacement

I'm a new Bugeye owner and need a windshield washer container. Moss sells these for over $50 which I find absurd - it's a water bottle! My car is a driver, not a concourse, so I'm just looking for something that will fit and work. I've heard of people using laboratory bottles.

Anyone have a specific link and item number for this? I found an old thread on here and a guy by the name of Paul claimed to have a bunch of them to give away but I can't seem to get in touch with him.

Thanks for any help!

Dan

Do you have a size for the holder? I have a bottle (lab bottle) that is too big for mine. FWIW though I use a Gatorade bottle - kids love it!

I have a couple of originals. One in great shape the other in good shape. $30 for the great shape $15 for the good shape. Photos if you wish. Do you also need the bracket?

If you don't take up Ray on his offer i will measure when i get home next week.

Ray - pictures would be great. Can you post them here or should I send you my email address?

I just talked to a guy who has what are probably laboratory bottles that he says are a great replacement, but of course it's nice to have an original. It's just that as a new Bugeye owner I'm in the middle of a spending spree to get parts that I need to drive so buying a non-essential is tough at the moment.

I already have the bracket.

I have and have had several of these cars from that vintage and personally have never tryed to use the windshield washer. I have visions of washer fluid running down my dash from the old pumps. Am I just being paranoid??
Not to hijack the tread but wondering what other folks experience has been??

Kurt.

didn't realize the value of these. need to dig mine out of the trash can, chunked it the other day when I started cleaning engine compartment.

And maybe some of they Plexiglass/Window Cleaner to get the yellow oxidation off of it.

I made one out of duck tape and a zip lock bag once... but this was for a 1500
