And that project would be?

What have you done now, Terri? Inquiring minds want to know... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Looks great what is it?

Mark

I was a bit quick, pictures hadn't been added yet.

A matched set of rubber-bumper cars. Cool. Those tires/wheels look huge in the pictures. Looks to be solid, though. Enjoy!

WOO HOO - & it looks unmolested & solid!

Are those TR wheels do you think? I just bought it now on e-bay. Haven't actually seen it, but the guy I talked to seemed O.K, knows nothing about British cars, got this one in trade along with a couple of other parts cars. He says it runs, but the clutch slave needs to be replaced cause it bleeds out. It sounds like it may have CAM issues...who knows, we will probably rebuild the motor anyway and get this $575. I have something to keep me really busy this winter now....

Awright!!! Remember the First Rule of MGB reconstruction: "Add lightness"! Whatever was/wasn't there on the 1962~'67 cars needs to be extrapolated to that example.

That looks to have potential to be onna streets for the spring!
Good score, Terri! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Lightness is good. Nice find.

I know those seats will have to go! Anyone have a set of original MGB seats? They don't have to be in the greatest condition...I'll recover if need be. Once we see how the paint is, we'll decide on whether to keep the color or repaint. I'm pretty sure the seats will be black cause I like the black bumpers with black carpet, seats and top. I have a line on carpet and the top...need seats though. Who do you call (Tony?)

Hard to tell from the small picture, but those look like Miata seats.....I would recommend keeping them and recovering in black.

FWIW - YOMV

You should be able to sell the seats if you are not going to use them. Miata seats are pretty cool though.

Well, perhaps we should wait until we actually get the car and see what we think...perhaps its that blue that makes me feel a little queasy when I look at them.
