...I just started a thread titled "Hardtop Restoration 101" that I'm gonna use to document the complete restoration of an old factory MGB hardtop I recently bought.

I found that one in Tennessee...I now have 5 MGB hardtops & 2 Midget hardtops.

Tony, I must have missed something. Did you finish the Midget you brought to the Ozarks?

hehehehe...a few things yet to hook up....1 bolt on the radiator is causing me grief...then its exhaust & fluids.

The hardtop is being done by my bodyman so all I do is give instructions/cash!

This is ironic timing. Though not 100% applicable, I picked up a hardtop (today) for our project Spitfire. I was already looking at it in terms of "where to start". I'll postpone any decisions until I can learn from your thread. Thanks Tony!

Is a factory Spitfire hardtop metal or fiberglass?

I looked at your thread and immediately realized that not much of your restoration work will be applicable as the Spit hardtop is steel. Oh well, time for me to post on the Triumph forum.

You should also add it to the Wiki - I can help.
