Longbridge Engine Number / Clarke Spares Owner Passed Away

Does anyone here have (or know someone that has) a decent picture of an original Longbridge (2-port) engine number tag?

Ideally, it would be near (or prior) to #34099.

I need to get a new tag made ASAP, and the original tag is missing the 1st half (all the prefix characters).

The Heritage Cert does not give the same prefix as the remnants of the tag, so that complicates ordering a new one.

This is a numbers matching car (the owner will keep the remains of the original tag as verification) so I want to make sure to get it as right as possible.

Randy what you need is

I C H 34099,

The I and C are embossed like the 34099, while the H, as you can see is stamped into the plate.

check with Todd Clarke of Clare Spares & Resorations, he may have what you need at www.clarkespares.com

Also the I may also be stamped as a 1. Clausager, states this should be a 1, but most of the Longbridge engine plates, that I have seen, are embossed with an I.

Interesting trivia on the H, I have an unopened A105 sedan engine and it has an L in the same post-stamped style. It has dished pistons whereas the Healey has flat top. The stamped in letters aren't necessarily vertical so I reckon they were put in by hand on the production line depending on the options such as compression ratio.
