lone pine

Hi Tahoe,

The Lone Pine Film Festival trip was the third annual Healeys on Tour outing this past October 7 to 10, sponsored by the Austin-Healey Association here in So Cal. Lone Pine is the site where many old westerns were made "back in the day." Previous trips were to Yosemite and Sequoia. Unfortunately, I've been on none of them, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif but George Keens tells me they've all been swell!

Next May 12-15 is the Association's California Healey Week at Indian Palms Resort in Indio. Come on down 395!

PS Caravaned up 395 with the Keens to Tahoe in June. The High Sierra's are beautiful, but we got a late start, and the heat through the Mojave desert was too much for me. I don't like that part of the trip in an enclosed, air-conditioned car, much less a Healey. What I really prefer is 2002's route up 101 then across to Tahoe!
