Yesterday, I had to put down my daughter's little dog, Loki. He was a rescue who we got when she was three. He was a terrific companion for eleven years to her and me. He had a sweet disposition, enjoyed going for car rides, and camping. He loved being outside, and he was a scourge to gophers and other small varmints. He'll be sorely missed around here.

Loki cared for you all - and you cared for Loki.

That is a true friendship.

Loki - the spirit of mischief, deception, and trickery. What we all need some time or another!

Sorry to hear of your families loss Walt, pets become family and it's heart breaking when they go. ā˜¹ļø

Sorry for your loss Walt. That is a hard thing to have to do.

I Allways said i would not get another dog, it is so heart breaking when they go, My daughter wanted a dog and for that reason alone
i did not want to have one, Guese what, we now have a dog, i Caved, would not be without her now, she has by far the best temperement
of any dog i have ever known. all we can do is give them the best life they can possibly have. and they are the only member of the household
that is bursting with excitement when you get home from work, Ya Gotta Love Em.

It has been said that your dog is the only one who loves you more than you love yourself.

Thanks guys. He had a stroke back on the 10th, with gave him three seizures over the course of that evening through the next morning. We were giving him some time to recover, but on the evening of the 15th he took a turn for the worse. After monitoring him for a couple of days, he was not eating anymore, hadn't had a drink in 24 hours, and was having trouble standing and moving on his own. It was the right choice, but that didn't make it any easier.

We've had to send 4 dogs to the rainbow bridge and were with 3 of them at the vets. It was time for all of them and is very hard letting gok, but you know it is the right thing to do.
After the last one. we decided no more because we thought there was a good chance a new pet would out live us and we were not comfortable with that. Miss them all and would still like to be able to play ball with my pet.
