location of fuel pump fuse on 1967 e-type

Fuse #6 according to my diaghrams... Numerous white wires on one end, green ones on the other. Derives power from the ignition switch via the THICK white lead, the pump is not fused. Check for corrosion on the gang connection (of the white wires) at fuse #6 and at the Lucar connector near the pump first. A test lamp at the pump on the white wire will tell a lot.

The connector to the rear wire harness is behind the pass. glove box. (Above the pass. right knee.) It's where 2 white wires are connected. Make sure they are tight. From that connection, the white wire goes directly to the pump. If you had an interior installed, the white wire in the harness might have been cut.

Phil.

If all else fails, get a set of points and fix the pump. Esay to do in less than an hour.
