Kind of restores your faith in humanity to see that kind of tribute.

Some friends have thought it represented how some elderly folks descend into a kind of darkness, or how some family get even.
But I choose to think this family had a terrific sense of humor.

Adding... I can't believe for a minute that the Parks Dept. would have approved of the label. Great prank by a family if you ask me.

But now I have ideas, something like: “In loving memory of our dog, Max, who tried to pee on every tree in this park and died of dehydration. We have since replaced our carpet.”

Ahhh that makes sense - and the park was where the cruise day was held that he would have been at had he been able to get it running - no wonder he was bitter and hated everyone. Sort of an LBC version of the Sisyphus story (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sisyphus) where Triumph literally leads to despair. :D (Says the guy with the broken MG in his garage ;) )

Reminds me of a grave maker I saw las weekend. "First taxes, now this."
