Great race, but heavy rain at the conclusion.

Two diesels won in LMP1 overall. Audi P1 and Peugeot P2.

The Audi lads looked concerned; if this is any indicator, next year Peugeot may win.

Henri Pescarolo's team got third in LMP1.

The Brit's did well.
Martin Short's UK-based Rollcentre Racing got fourth in their Barbosa.

The Brabham Aston Martin got fifth overall and First in GT *just* beating the Fellow's Corvette (on the same lap).

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif All in all a good race!!! I was foolish enough to watch (most) of the all-night coverage that Speed provided!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

But that's all it takes !!!

And overall Astons 5th,7th,9th,11th,17th,29th.
What a result. All six there at the finish.

My only disappointment was having to leave the circuit and return home an hour before the race started !!

The "Legends" race beforehand was great as always but restricted a little by the damp track.
