Finally got it all hooked up and it seems to be running as it should. Only question I have right now is, can I convert exe files to work in Fedora? Is this possible or not? I really like the program as it's basic operation isn't that far away from Windows and the learning process isn't that bad. I has a nice look also.
I'm on it now! PJ

You can't "convert" them but you can install "wine" and try to run them under that. Some things work, some don't. It wasn't worth the hassle for me.

Thanks Scott! It runs JPG files with no problems, so my photos look super. I'll give Wine a try. I only have a few that I'm concerned about. PJ

Wine is getting better all the time.

JPEG files are a compressed image file format. The files with the *.exe extension are Microsoft (read DOS) execute command files. Waay diff'rent.
