Line-Bore Question for 1275

I've located a new rear scroll seal for my 1275 and am sending it to the machine shop for line-boring, after taking apart the bottom end which I had just put together.

The block is stripped. I'm sending out with the crank in the block and the main caps on.

Should I leave the main cap bearings in place?
Do I put the scroll seal on with a gasket?

Since I put in a new cam and cam followers, do I need to put them back into their original position? I probably only turned the crank 10 or 12 revolutions without the head on, or pushrods installed.

thanks....
