So I spotted this baby at a repair shop near-ish my folks place. I think it's been there for a couple of years-I swear I've seen it coming back from Wisconsin a couple of times. Anyway, it's a post-war Continental, and it's pretty rough. The rear fender on the opposite side is actually coming detached from the rest of the car, all the chrome is shot, and I've no idea about the mechanical bits. Worse, this car was "restored" at some point. The interior has seats that look to be from a later car, the original instruments are gone (replaced with a modern aftermarket speedo and an altimiter of all things!), there appear to be power windows, and some switches in a plate stuck to the dash. Plus there's a center console with one of those old Audiovox tape decks you could get at K-Mart back in the 80's. So yeah, it's pretty bad.
Course, all I can think of is how cool it would look with no chrome, flipper hubcaps, a couple inches chopped out of the top, and painted jet black with a tan interior. Do they even make hop up parts for a flathead V-12?
