Would it be possible to do a "Like" icon, that we could click on,
rather than posting a "Me too" posts? We have this on another forum,& seems to work well.
Never thought I'd embrace "new Technology" like that.

No like icon unless the developers implement it. But there is a way to "rate" using the "Rate this Thread" feature in the header of the thread.

What's wrong with this one?

That one's perfect. But it takes several mouse clicks, or typing the shortcut. Nowadays, everyone wants things done with a single click.

C'mon, get with the program! :jester:

Funny (?) story.

Another car group I belong to has used an ancient Yahoo based listserv since around 2000. Every message posted, and every reply posted, is emailed to every member. As users hardly ever edited the message when they replied, each reply got longer and longer. Each reply contained *all* the previous replies.

We recently changed to a web forum (similar to BCF). If a member doesn't want to use the web forum format, he/she can sign up for email notices. Many long time members dropped out of the group.

"We used to get every email so we could just click Reply and send our two cents.
Now we get a "there's a new reply" email, but have to click twice to see the message on the forum.
Don't want to have to do that."

(Yep - one more click drove 'em off.)

Wow - remember when car clubs used monthly newsletters?
