Like Christmas in February

Just picked up the engine from the shop - all cleaned, deglazed and dismantled and ready to be reassembled. They said they could do it for me - like that's going to happen. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Just a treat to get all the pieces. Turns out the pistons are stock, the rod bearings are .020 and the mains .010. That knowledge alone was worth having the shop do it. Hurray!

Looking good! Kinda wish I had an engine to screw together all nice an' cozy in the basement right about now. Waiting for boxes from Moss ain't cuttin' it anymore!

Break it apart and put it in the bead of a pickup and you will find that the high pressure car wash is your friend. Knocks all that grease off in a hurry and leaves it clean.

more than i ever enjoyed repairing
my beater cars from the past...
