Lights won't go off...

So...The headlights won't turn off and I have to disconnect the battery so it won't get drained. Are there any suggestions as to what I should check other than the switch? Thanks...

Hello Sharpish,

i would start with the switch, remove it from the dash and carfully take it apart if you feel so inclined, and clean it with an eraser. if not order a new one and change it out. then start cleaning gounds in the headlite harnes. Your lites are pulling a ground from somewhere they should not be. Most likely place in behind the left side headlite where it all hooks to the bay harness.

Good Luck

When you unplug the wires from the switch, do the headlights go off? If so, the switch is the problem. If not, it lies elsewhere.

sorry to do this, I know this is a problem that needs to be addressed, as no one likes having a drained battery, but i just can't help myself... You guys mean to tell me that Lucas is also the Prince of Light? sorry... sorry... I return you back to your regular programming
