Life Happens

Doug, I can completely commiserate with you. Two years ago when I was flat on my back for three months straight all I could think about was getting out. Just remember that this is only temporary and that sooner or later you'll be back at it.

When I complain,I need to keep you in mind - it could be worse.

If you can by chance get yourself to the Runoffs, you can leave driving to me once there. I’ll shuttle you around all weekend in the Moke.

Thank you for the offer - I'll need to see how it goes.I need IV injections
every six hours (for now),& need to soak my hand three times a day.

OK - I WANT TO DRIVE THE GT!
My Wife said she'd take me out for a drive, but
it's not the same as letting me drive.

Doug, hope you heal quickly and can drive the MG soon. You've probably covered this in the past, but could you explain the pile of beer cans across from the bar?

Go to YouTube and look up Jimmy Buffett's "Ringling,Ringling".
It's a spot along the road,in central Montana, with connections to
the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Been there a couple of times,& the church was being restored
the last time we were there.

"...imagine all the heartache and tears in twenty-seven years of beers." 👍

I'd mention "The Bear Song" but it's kinda un-PC. And one other title...

now, i remember driving a stick-shift, drinking a soda, and holding hands with a girl simultaneously when in high school. i am sure that you are no less talented than i was. you CAN do it....

But just how could I drink my coffee & talk on my phone?

And then you'd probably get sued from the family of the songwriter.

Doug, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. It sounds like Mrs. Doug has everything under control. I was gonna say well in hand, but sounded wrong for some reason.:D Take care and feel better fast. Your cars need you.

Thanks - on one hand,I find that funny. On the other hand.....
are my five fingers.

I finally drove the GT today! It's been sitting for over two weeks.
OK,well it was only about 10 feet (each way),but I really enjoyed getting
back into it.
Also got to drive the Dakota today,as I had a dental appointment,&-
no one to drive me.

congratulations on getting back in the saddle...even if just for 10 feet each way!
