Found my old Mamiya TLR! Got it given to me as a teener, hanging out at the local rag's photo department, hoping to be taken seriously. The camera had been "hidden" in a drawer a while, the middle-age son of the owner/publisher had apparently been on some job and after some imbibing, had done a Brodie down a flight of stairs, with camera and 65mm wide-angle lens attached. Bent and broken, bits like shutter cocking lever, film advance lever missing, lens front rings bashed in... One of the other photogs handed it to me with the whole story and the promise: "If you can fix it, you can keep it." Over the next few years that was the camera I used to get quite a few by-lines in local publications. Even got a "normal" 80mm and a 135mm lens for it later. Poor thing has sat too long now and atrophy has rendered it well beyond the time/effort/cost to make it useful again. So just one more for the "eyewash" shelf.D8B_1654Gcrsc.JPG
