Just got these in the mail today! Perfect for my '53 BN!

Does anyone else run antique plates, or have a neat plate number?

Yes, I have '56 plates for my BN2. I'm not a stickler for originality but contemporary plates just were not going on this after all the effort I put in. It's funny how many people look at the car and ask what year it is when the '56 is clearly visible on the plate. They cost a couple of hundred dollars but the fellow I bought them from would have exchanged them for some of the dozens of matched sets he had collected if DMV had not allowed the number, if for example, it was in use again. He was smart enough to start collecting plates before anyone had an inkling that they would be worth some money some day. His garage was packed and indexed by year with almost anything you could want in poor, good, and show quality condition.
