In 1980 (1981?) I attended the A H C A Conclave event in Fredericksburg, VA and I bought a chrome-plated license plate frame that said; "My Other Car is an Austin-Healey". I would love to find some more of these and maybe they still exist somewhere. But where? Anyone have any ideas about where to find them? AL Bradley

There are plenty of places that make custom plate frames. If you have a swap meet in your area there is a good chance that they make them on the spot. I did a quick search on google for "custom license plate frames" and the first place I clicked on makes the nice brass/chrome custom engraved ones for $50

A hot-rod I was driving behind the other day had a neat chrome rear license plate holder with a third brake light incorporated into the upper portion. I believe it was lighted by LCD (?) so it was very bright.
Flipped up-side-down, this could probably work for our Healeys, albeit the position would be substatially lower to be an effective 3rd brake light and kind of cheesy. But again, name a safe thing that is not cheesy. GONZO

Cheesy? I use 1/2 of a set of WalMart magnetic towing lights that connect to the brake light to add a big 3rd brake light on the rear deck. That looks cheesy. Only use it when driving among the SUVs -- take it off for club runs (since I mostly trust those guys) and shows. At least I used Lucas bullet connectors and the correct wiring colors.
