Let it snow....

Absolutly no snow here. Just cold and windy. Thankfully.. Cause I just had to get up on the roof and run a snake down the sewer vent. Finally after several days of racking my brains, plunging, running snakes and augers, I finally figured out why the toilet wouldn't flush.... You never really appreciate things like that till they quit working right.

Bird's or wasp nest obstructing vent pipe?

Good times, good times....

Here's what I had to drive thru this morning, a teeth chattering 59Âş degrees!

On the way back from the AH club/British car meet, in Rancho Palos Verdes...

There are some by-the-book/posted speed enforcement officers all around there, Tom, ask me how I know.... Slower speeds, but still a very nice A.M. drive!

Final tally was just short of 12 inches of global warming the boys shoveled out of the driveway this morning.

Dunno.. Whatever it was was about 12 feet down the pipe where it taps into the trunk line. All I care is that it's open again.
I woulda put on my winter gear and taken the TR2 for a ride in the cold today, but it's still a pile of parts.
I've got a few good stories of top-down winter driving... Waving to guys shoveling the sidewalk. My cousin beat me though. For several years all he had was his motorcycle licence, so he rode it year round.. Blizzards and all. He was unique!
