It's a 1275 if you look at other pics. No information as to what gas been done to it. Appears stock tiger than Driver!s seat.

The red top Optima must really wake up the starter! You're right, the heater sits in front of the battery. The motor looks stock enough from the outside - wonder if there's a Mini Cooper upgrade inside the block?

The hood scoop mimics that of the Thunderbird.

I love the under-hood pics as I'm doing a cleanup under mine at the moment. Curious about the heater being removed. I suppose you can just say, "Hey it's California, you don't need it!" as a rationale. It also makes it a lot easier to get to the battery, not that you need to do much with that one.
