Any recommendations on a good glue for dash panel and capping coverings,TRF's leather and vinyl for TR3?
Thanks
Tom

When I did my TR3 (all in leather) I used 3M's contact spray. Both the #77 and #90 will work well. For places that I had to brush on, I used Wellwood's contact adhesive in the bottle. Both have stood up well for about four years now.

There are several threads here on the forum showing some of the techniques I used. I'll dig them out and re-post later.

Art ,Thanks for all the great info, especially all the stuff about dogleg cappings.
Thanks again,

Hey Tom,

Just finished mine. I have always used the 3m no. 77, and did here again. Unfortunately, most of it pulled up, even after letting each piece set under pressure for 2 days. I ended up using the DAP contact cement available at Lowes, and it is bonding MUCH better. I still need to redo several areas where the no 77 lifted.

I did not use it for this, but I have also been very happy with the Weldwood also.

Good luck!

John

Thanks John,I just got home with the weldwood contact cement and passed on the 3m sprays for now.
Thanks
Tom
