Nope - try again

You need a site like photobucket to be able to take the pics from there and paste them here.

I went to try a new topic and got to the point where it said file to large. I will attempt to figure that one out. Bob

If you're using Windows, the "trick" is to resize the photo (then "Save As..." and rename it so you don't lose the original) in a photo manipulation software. I'm on a Linux machine so can't check to see if Microsoft "Paint" can resize, but I think it can. If you find the "resize" function, 600 pixels is about the limit for the wider dimension of an image (with "retain aspect ratio" checked). File size for attaching is, ummm, 150kb, I think.

And you can retry putting it in the original post with the "edit" button in the lower right corner of your post. It allows you to go back and "File Manage" additions.

Sorry... clear as mud, I s'pose.

Google "<span style="font-style: italic">Irfanview</span>" for some good image manipulation software, it's not overly complex and does the job.

Me too... but I make my bean money with 'em.

How pathetic is THAT?!?! :smirk:

Well its not hard if you can fine a pic that has less than 75 kb. Thats the number i got from a tutorial. Now i have to figure out how to shrink better quality pics with the software??? we have on out home computer. The shot is of my 67 gt and my buddy Jerrys 66 at the Wilmington NC show a few years ago. I am maintaining my frustration level with this! Bob

Bob - I usually work my pixels down to somewhere around 400x300 & it fits.

I see you have got it working, and I like those MG's too!
Wait till I show my oldest daughter, she really likes the white ones!

AWRIGHT, Bob!! Looking good...you gonna show us any of the other cars in your stable?

I found a place on the computer to reduce the size of the pics but will need the assistance of my wife(Lynda) to get it working. More later, Bob

My bad, Rick! THX for th' correct name and link.

<span style="font-size: 14pt">OR,</span> Download the <span style="font-weight: bold">FLOCK </span>web browser,(free). It's based on FireFox and has a link to Photobucket. It has a photo preview bar at the top that can be opened or closed at a click of the mouse. Open a Photobucket account,(free). You can grab a photo, or clip art and drag them to your message window. No pain, no strain. With a Photobucket account, you can maintain tons of photos.

A guy from Monroe posting pictures taken in Wilmington on the river front. You're making me homesick! I grew up in Wilmington and worked at Charlotte Plastics in Monroe during the summer while in college.

That's pronounced MUN-row in case y'all weren't aware.

Shinsen,
MUN-row is growing and Charlotte plastics has expanded also! We try to go to the battleship show in Wilmington each year. Missed it last year and have other commitments again this year. You should try to attend that event. Its well organized and alot of fun. If you ever get back to Monroe look us up!Garage tours and coffee are always available. Bob

We picked up a first in class 2 years running at the Wilmington show. Lots of cars! Great show, nice setting.
