Lean Needles for SU, AUC 878

I live at 6,000 ft elevation and drive from 5,000 to 9,000, with a 59 TR-3A - I recently change from the standard needles to lean needles - I found the best tune at 28 flats - twice what the stock needles required - does anyone have experience with these needles - midnight
 
No experience with "lean" needles. What needles are you using?? I have a needle comparison program at home to see how much leaner they would be over stock. I'll see if I can dig out a link to it. Also, here's an altitude adjustment article from Red River Triumph Club that might help.
