Leaf Spring Refurbishment 100 BN1

I am in the process of removing and cleaning up the running gear of the car. The leaf springs were really not sagging, do not appear to have any broken leaves, but are unsightly and rusty. Is there anywhere that refurbishes these?

Oh and if by chance (probably recommended), I just decide to replace the springs, where is the best source for these? Is Moss the way to go, or get some sent from a UK supplier?

Simon, I posted a similar question regarding the leaf springs for my BN4 a few days ago. My springs look like they spent a few years in a swamp, however, they appear to be original. Based upon past experience with Camaros/mustangs and the advice from others on here, I plan to replace mine. By the time I pay to have them arched, etc. the new from Moss appears to be the way to go. Just saving the coin for the additional order.....let me know what you do. Doug

I've had Moss rear springs on a 100M and a BN1. No issues at all and they have lasted a long time.

You can clean up rear springs quite nicely with a small portable sand blaster out in your driveway. Then paint them. They will look like new. If they are so rusty that they are pitted....buy some new ones.
