This is not about a Triumph, but I'm posting it here since I do have an MGB in the driveway (The Junkpile MGB which amy actually run this week!)
Every year in the town where I live, we have a BIG end of summer celebration called the Corn Roast Festival. There is much silliness (bed races, rubber duck race) as well as lots of good food. In the morning there is a parade. This year, as a Farmers Insurance Agent, we needed something for our float in the parade. The trusty Riley Elf was recruited. We covered it with yellow and green balloons to represent a
big(?) ear of corn. The theme for the parade is corn. I pulled the old Radio Flyer wagon with a yellow box with "butter" printed on the side. The box was filled with packets of microwave popcorn which my wife handed out during the parade (1000 packages!). The comments about the car were hilarious. It was quite a sight!

On a different and happy note, after two surgeries I am now free of cancer.

Excellent, and may you have many more Corn Roast Festivals.

Kinda corny, IMO. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Gratz Bruce, especially on the cancer thing. I am going through the same thing with my wife, so I know how happy you must feel.

WOO HOO!! Great about the cancer just too bad you didn't have an MG1100 for the corn float....hehehe

Corngratulations on your amaizing recovery, aw shucks. We are glad to ear about it, may the rest of your life be smooth as silk.

Aw man, is this thread gonna turn into tiny kernels of wisdom?

It butter not!
But if you to fight about it, it will be heck of a row. And don't start stalking me to see the next pun.
There, we're done!

Congrats & nice float.
