LBC open house this Sunday in Los Angeles

[Westfield_XI]

A reminder that this Sunday is the open house 2 the shop where I am building my Westfield Lotus 11 replica. There will also be a completed kit available for test drives!!

The shop is on Reseda Blvd. between the 101 and Ventura Blvd. Just turn into the Mr MB Motors parking lot and head to the back. Show starts @ 9:00AM

Too bad I couldn't make it, I would have loved to have seen the Westfield XI in person.

I tell you what... just sitting there starin' at the bare chassis I had a hard time imagining a transmission fitting in the space allotted, an engine fitting in the space allotted, and good golly Miss Molly I ~really~ couldn't imagine a grown man sitting in the space allotted.

But then a completed Westfield showed up, and it all came together ... tight fit for sure.

I almost made a crack about seein' Steve in your pix with an SLR in 'is mits but NO pix yet.... Thanks fer th' link. Sure looks like a good day to me. And Steve's GT is just awesome. Get goosebumps just lookin' at th' pix.
