Hello Again,
I have a sticker on my windscreen that led me to a website where there's a photo of my car (actually I have a confession to make - the car is in my wife's name, so it is hers...). Here is the link if it doesn't show elsewhere

Great car! That color is Black Tulip, isn't it?I'm restoring a '73 for my wife, and that's the color we're going with.

That setting looks familiar - Where was it taken?

Mickey, get in touch with chuck cougill...take a day trip up to Evansville & have him show you a "Tulip" car in person!

I don't know exactly where the photo was taken - probably somewhere at a club event in the northeast US. I got the car from the person whose name is embedded in the web address. There is a sticker on the windscreen "Spurious Car Club" that I typed into yahoo and got the link that took me to the photo. The car was originally green and the previous owner painted it black. The only problem now is that there is alot of crazing that I have to fix. The underside was also ignored for a long time - I'll have a go at cleaning it up in the spring. Alot of other minor things to take care of as well. But, all in all it should turn out okay.

What a beautiful car! As a former owner of a '69 Green MGB, I can only hope that that is it...last I heard, it went away to college in NJ

sometime in the ealry 80's.

If you know better, don't tell me...let me have this little illusion of her fate.
